Nursery Learning Letter Summer 2 - 'Weather'
We hope you all have had a good half term break and are feeling refreshed and ready for the new term. Miss Robertson (who is now Mrs Broughton) would like to say a big thank you for all the well wishes and cards after getting married in the holidays.
Our topic this half term is “Weather” and we will be doing lots of activities to enhance our learning throughout this topic. We will be exploring different types of weather, things that we may wear that is suitable for the weather and we will be also focusing on the days of the week through songs and rhymes.
Each Friday of this half term, Conor Cooke will be coming into school to do football with Nursery. He will be focusing on a range of skills to help develop the children’s movement such as, experiment different ways of moving, negotiate spaces successfully, gaining increasing control over a ball and many more.
This half term our role play area has been changed into an area around the child’s interests, therefore our role play area is now a home corner; this may change as we continue to listen to the children.
The planning for each week is available to read in the Nursery classroom along with the latest school newsletter. Please feel free to pop in and have a look.
Please remember we are here to help and are always available to answer any questions that you may have.
